Taken from the top of Mount Reynolds in Glacier Park I woke up at 3:15am car camping to try to make it to the top before sunrise. It’s about a three mile climb to reach the top. Well the route was difficult and I got up there after the sun had beached the landscape. However I had packed my large 200-600mm with me and set it up on a tripod when looking East and seeing this amazing layer of mountains and ridges. The light that direction helped my cause even more making this one of my favorite images from that trip. As always click on the image for full viewing.
