I took this in the mid summer of 2023 just after spending two and a half days in Glacier Park. I headed down to the Blackfeet Nation from Glacier and as I was driving this scene stood out to me. The late evenings sun rays were shining down thought the hazy clouds and a small band of horses stood nearby. I had to pull over and capture it! This image was taken in a very remote and poor region in the state of Montana on the Blackfeet Nation. The mountains in the the backdrop are the east side of the vast Bob Marshall Wilderness. The title is from a prayer I prayed over the Blackfeet Tribe the next day and then a word my friend gave me shortly thereafter.
