It was getting darker as I approached the top of this pass in late September. The thick fog made the woods hold back much of what you could normally see. I chose the name for this image as a dual meaning. The first one is the obvious one as it comes off as a bit creepy. The trees look almost phantom link against the airy white sky. The second, less obvious meaning is that wherever you go, even when things get dark and scary, God will always be by your side.
